Why is the Parish of St. Padre Pio embarking on a Capital Campaign?

The Parish of St. Padre Pio is in need of a Church to accommodate the current parishioners and its growing community.

What is the financial goal?

The minimum goal to start the building is $7 million.

When are we going to begin building?

A soon as the minimum financial goal has been achieved, the Church will be built on 6.4 acres of land on the north west corner of Major MacKenzie and Islington Avenue.

Who will be asked to make a commitment?

All parish members will be asked to consider a gift to the Capital Campaign. Community organizations and businesses will also be approached.

How much should I give?

Your gift should represent a meaningful sacrifice in accordance with your financial ability to give, in addition to your regular weekly offering. Of course, all pledges are confidential.

If my financial circumstances change, may I alter my pledge?

Yes, all gifts are completely voluntary and pledges are not legally binding.

Does my gift to the Capital Campaign qualify as a charitable donation for income tax purposes?

Yes, your gift will be included in your official income tax receipt and may be used to reduce your personal income tax.
